It’s my intention to provide the most value to you - the reader, by writing these newsletters. It’s also my egoic motivation to feed you, my self. With my own original thoughts. But are any thoughts truly original?

Probably a conversation for another day.

For today’s newsletter I’d like to point you in the direction of another direction.

One of the things that fires me up most in life.. That speaks to the depth of my spirit, is Quality.

And not quality in some ugly technological Microsoft versus Apple comparison. I’m talking about quality captured by the human experience.

If I ask google to define art

Art  - the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

well, I was looking to shit on google. But that was actually pretty beautiful. So I’ll repeat that definition with another word.

Quality - the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

The point I’m trying to make is that as I age, I begin to appreciate art more and more. And it’s not because my mom was an actress and my dad was a photographer. My mom was a hairdresser and my dad was a police officer. And maybe there’s some quality (art) in both professions but not the kind of art I’m pointing at right now.

Rather than continue defining art or explain what I mean by words I’ll leave some examples below
